I'm seriously just sitting here thinking and cracking jokes that my dog doesn't even think is funny, which means something is wrong. Maybe I need some sort of therapy?
A little Rock and Roll? I think so.
So... Currently what is playing is "You've got another thing comin" by Judas Priest, which if I say so myself is the maker of some kick-ass rock and roll.
See, these days the genre of rock and roll has become very cheaply made and very off from what the classics and legends have created. They have paved the way for many artists and have been the inspiration for all. Today, I went record shopping with my mom and we were on a mission. I had the list of artists in my head, that I wanted to get, and if I saw something else I liked, I'd grab it.
Location one that we went to had nothing but an ABBA greatest hits album and some Janis Joplin. I was happy and grabbed both, along with Chopin, because I'm one of those kids who's parents played music like that all the time (helps the brain, they say--IDK).
So today's "rock and roll" is pretty shitty unless you do some research and find some awesome guys like The Dirty Pearls, Rockets to Ruin, The Last Vegas, The Hangmen, Rhino Bucket, Vain, and Foster the People.
Rock and Roll really looks like Chuck Berry, The Stones, The Cure, Hanoi Rocks, Patti Smith, Springsteen, The Beatles, etc etc from their era. If you reeeeally need to find the TRUE definition of Rock and Roll check then put down the cheap bullshit your listening to and check out the top 100 from this list:

TOP 500 GREATEST SONGS:
After parading through the record store in total amazement, like a kid in a candy store, I found great albums from The Stones, Queen, Poison, and The Beatles. The first place I went to was totally picked over, but at the 2nd place, VINYL HEAVEN. The SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, THE BEATLES album = $14.95, but at this place $8.
I think I just found my Bad Kid hide-out. :D
Not to hate the new stuff, but in order to appreciate what music we have now, you need to really check out and appreciate what rock and roll was, without gimmicks, trashiness and pointlessness.
So now, go out there and find the meaning of ROCK AND ROLL, because God knows we all need to.
