INFINITE JEST
I'm currently reading this book by David Foster Wallace about substance abuse and recovery programs, depression, child abuse, family relationships, advertising and popular entertainment, film theory, and separatism.
I find it very interesting along with the author who was a professor that he committed suicide at the age of 46. This book came out in 1996, and to be honest, I bought it w while ago and never picked it up until this summer.

"the Disease is fiendishly patient--how in time they forget what it was like, the ones that've cockily drifted, they forget who and what they are, they forget about the Disease, until like one day they're at like maybe a Celtics-Sixers game, and the good old Fleet/First Interstate Center's hot, and they think what could just one cold foamer hurt"
